Abstract: The discovery history of Polonium and Radium are briefly retrospected here at the 110th anniversary of these natural radioactive elements discovery. In view of the marked decrease of Radium applications nowadays, the production routes, radioactive features, radiation safety and important uses of Polonium are emphastically described, so as to commemorate the great men - M. Curie and P, Curie that they revealed the mysteries of radioactivity.

摘要: 在天然放射性元素钋和镭发现110周年之际,简要回顾了这两种元素的发现史.。鉴于现今镭的应用己显著減少,本文着重阐述了钋的生产途径、放射特性、辐射安全和重要应用,以纪念揭开放射性奥秘的巨人-皮埃尔·居里夫妇.
